Guiding Star is&#8230; manageable, but that Star cost is really rough, since at the beginning of Act I your only means of Star generation is Divine Right (giving you 3 Stars at the start of combat) and Venerate, giving 2 stars for 1 Energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a way, this thing is Competing with Falling Star, one of the Regent&#8217;s best cards, period, since they both have a pretty hefty Star cost for the start of a run. It does become better if you add a Glow or a Convergence into your deck, but ultimately, dealing 12 damage isn&#8217;t enough. Drawing two cards, though, does sound good at first, but seeing more of Regent&#8217;s early deck manipulation, primarily Convergence and Glimmer, and Guiding Star really falls our of favor.
